The NFADA partners with local dealerships and colleges to organize Career Fairs for graduating students who are preparing to enter the automotive industry. Students arrive prepared with updated resumes and questions, giving them the opportunity to meet directly with representatives from each dealership and learn about potential career paths.
These Career Fairs allow dealerships to connect with students and explore potential Work-Based Learning opportunities that can lead to future employment. They also provide teachers with valuable opportunities to build relationships with dealerships, coordinate field trips, and arrange guest speakers. Through these experiences, students can learn about the latest technology being used in dealerships and meet former graduates who are now successfully working in the automotive field.
Throughout the Career Fair, students rotate through each dealership’s table, asking questions, making connections, and discovering which opportunities may be the best fit for their interests and career goals. These events help students take an important first step toward finding where their future career may begin.
