What is Safe T First?

SafeTFirst (STF) is a comprehensive safety & health program specifically designed for new car dealerships, addressing their particular needs in a consultative environment.  Program components include but may not be limited to:

 

  • A digital copy (CD) of OSHA required written programs
  • Annual Safety Inspection
    • Mock OSHA Inspection conducted throughout dealership building to determine the level of compliance with various local, state and federal regulations.
  • Annual Program Audit
    • One on One interview with a designated Safety Supervisor to determine the level of compliance of written programs, record keeping, training requirements, inspection records, and state & federal sign postings.
    • Required sign postings are reviewed and any updates are made.
  • Employee Safety & Health Training
    • The NFADA's staff trainer comes to your dealership to conduct OSHA mandated Safety & Health training.
  • Regulatory Agency Response Services
    • The NFADA's STF staff members are available to respond to OSHA, DEC, EPA, local Building and Fire Inspectors, or any other regulatory agency, on the dealer's behalf.
